Terms and Conditions

By booking an appointment with Solea Medical Aesthetics ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

Clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive cosmetic injectable treatments unless otherwise permitted by Australian law and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

A consultation is required prior to any treatment. Treatment suitability is determined by the prescribing practitioner and treating clinician.

Booking an appointment does not guarantee that treatment will be performed.

2. Medical Assessment

All clients are required to complete a medical history questionnaire and provide accurate, current, and complete information. This medical assessment is critical for determining your eligibility for cosmetic injectable treatments. 

Failure to disclose relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, breastfeeding status, or previous procedures may affect your eligibility for treatment and may increase the risk of complications.

Solea Medical Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.

3. Cosmetic Injectable Consultations

Certain treatments require a separate consultation with an authorised prescribing practitioner before treatment can proceed. Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of the prescribing practitioner and are not guaranteed.

4. Deposits

A booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Deposits are:

- Applied towards your treatment on the day of your appointment.

- Non-refundable for late cancellations or missed appointments.

- Transferable if sufficient notice is provided.

5. Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness for all clients. 

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the booking deposit. Failure to attend an appointment without notice ("no-show") may result in:

- Loss of deposit.

- Pre-payment requirements for future bookings.

- Refusal of future bookings at our discretion.

6. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened, rescheduled or cancelled. Full fees may still apply.

7. Results Disclaimer

Individual results vary between clients. Solea Medical Aesthetics does not guarantee specific outcomes, longevity of results or satisfaction with any treatment performed. 

Photographs displayed on our website or social media are for educational purposes only and do not guarantee similar outcomes.

8. Treatment Risks

All cosmetic procedures carry potential risks and side effects. These may include, but are not limited to:

- Swelling

- Bruising

- Redness

- Tenderness

- Asymmetry

- Infection

- Allergic reactions

- Vascular complications

Risks will be discussed during your consultation.

9. Follow-Up Appointments

Follow-up appointments may be recommended depending on the treatment provided. Additional treatment may incur additional charges unless otherwise advised.

10. Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. Quotes provided during consultations are estimates only and may vary based on individual treatment requirements.

11. Photography

Clinical photographs may be taken for medical documentation, treatment planning and monitoring purposes. Photographs will not be used for marketing purposes without your separate written consent.

12. Zero Tolerance Policy

We maintain a safe and respectful environment. Abusive, aggressive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards staff, practitioners or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service.
